The investment objective of the Fund is to seek growing income distributions with capital appreciation potential in the long term by investing in a diversified portfolio of Biopharma Sector Securities. The Fund's portfolio is largely composed of high-quality pharmaceutical names with fortress-like balance sheets, a solid dividend payout and some growth options. At the same time the portfolio has a significant allocation to well-funded innovative smaller companies, often in the biotechnology space, with advanced pipelines of highly promising and innovative therapeutics. Such companies will have highly reputable management teams with strong track records and provide the Fund with the potential for marked capital appreciation. Exposure to these income and growth components of the portfolio can be adjusted to reflect relative value. The Fund is advised by Mann Bioinvest, who have extensive investment experience of the sector. The fund is managed by Charlemagne Capital Limited.
